We had to do a visa run so decided to go to Yangon

View from hotel

You can get just about anything here
This is just one of the many street stalls

There are many of these food stalls along the streets

The local Buses are always full
There is  about 5 million people living here

The country is very poor

They place their rubbish in piles anywhere they can find

They grow a lot of these water plants
as you can see they are wading waist deep to harvest the crop

We visited the Shwedagon Pagoda

This Pagoda is the Biggest
that we have been to since Leaving Australia

Pray Gong

Entrance to the Shwedagon Pagoda

This vehicle had was started by hand with a Crank handle
Pretty amazing this day and age

We visited the Local Ferry Terminal
  they transport people and goods

Everything here is loaded by hand

Behind this bike stacked with Eggs
is a little old man pushing it along

Fuel Drums are placed on trolley's and pulled along by men

A Boat of Gas bottles being unloaded by hand
Believe us they were very heavy

Once off the boat they placed them into the truck

This Market is located in 24th street
It is the local market place

The fruit and Veg was so fresh

As was the poultry
You just had to pick which one you wanted
Then they necked it plucked it and cut it up for you
